A pretty day to pick up garbage

A view of Soquel creek next to Nob Hill.

My sister and my grandpa looking for garbage.
We got our stuff ! YAY!

A beautiful shot of the hillside, it looks like a fairy queen's throne.
My sister standing. This part of the creek is very shallow.

An old shopping cart, how disgusting. Another special project to do.

Look, a Coca Cola can.

My sister standing waist deep in the water.
Me holding up a bad smelling plastic bag I found.

Oh,my gosh!    A bike.   A perfect bike.
My aunt looking at a piece of trash.
My sister holding up a plastic cup she found.
A picture of the river, very shallow.
A grocery cart!  Can you imagine?!   We need to do a special project to dig it out.
My aunt, my sister and I dragging our loot out of the creek.
We found all this in the creek in about half an hour.  How DISGUSTING!    It is like a treasure hunt.

Picking up DISGUSTING garbage.

Today my dad, my sister and I all went to the Bargetto Bridge. We went down the path to the creek but we saw some people hanging out under the bridge and we didn`t feel like dealing with them. So we went to our normal spot (Soquel creek by my school) and thank goodness we did! We found lots and lots of garbage such as cans, bottles, pieces of glass and much, much more.
My sister (Coco) walking the creek.
A pretty view of Soquel creek in the sun.
What a find! Empty beer bottles and a box.
Sea grass or algae in Soquel creek.
My dad holding a mud filled plastic carton that he wrestled out of the brush at the side of the creek.
My sister and I holding hands while looking for trash.
Ohh!  My sister found some garbage.A magazine clipping.    And here below is our loot.
